IAM student stipends
The International Association of Multilingualism is pleased to announce the availability of student stipends intended to support applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds in attending the IAM 2026 Conference. We offer 5 travel scholarships at 350€ each, and 5 early-bird student fee waivers at 235€ each.
To apply, please submit the following documents:
- Proof of student status
- A letter from your supervisor (or an equivalent authority) confirming that your institution is unable to provide financial support
- A motivation letter indicating your reasons for applying as well as the distance you will need to travel to attend the conference
Applications should be submitted to the conference email address iaml3conference2026@amu.edu.pl no later than April 19.
Selection criteria:
- Current student status
- Lack of alternative funding sources
- Travel distance to the conference venue
- Quality of the accepted abstract
The travel stipend will be transferred to the grantee after the conclusion of the conference. Early-bird student fee waivers will be applied at the time of registration.
Students may apply for a travel grant, a fee waiver, or both; however, the IAM Board will award only one stipend per Student, based on its evaluation of the application. Notifications of acceptance will be announced on May 3.
